Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Use govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of both “ZZUP Inc.” (the “Company”), operating an online shopping mall (the “Mall”), and its users when utilizing the online services provided by the Mall. These terms also apply to electronic transactions conducted via PC communication, mobile devices, and other digital means, unless they contradict their nature.


Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. “Mall” refers to the virtual marketplace established by “ZZUP Inc.” using information and communication technology to facilitate the sale of goods and services (“Products”). The term may also refer to the entity operating the online platform.

  2. “User” refers to anyone accessing the Mall and utilizing its services, including both members and non-members.

  3. “Member” refers to a user who has registered as a member of the Mall and is entitled to continuous use of its services.

  4. “Non-Member” refers to a user who utilizes the Mall’s services without registering as a member.


Article 3 (Disclosure, Explanation, and Modification of Terms)

  1. The Mall shall post these Terms of Use, the company’s name, representative’s name, business location, contact details, business registration number, e-commerce registration number, and the name of the personal data protection officer on its main webpage for easy access by users.

  2. Prior to obtaining users’ consent, the Mall must provide a separate pop-up or linked page explaining key terms, such as order cancellation, shipping responsibilities, and refund policies.

  3. The Mall may revise these terms to comply with relevant laws, including the Consumer Protection Act in E-commerce, the Electronic Financial Transactions Act, and other applicable regulations.

  4. Any changes to these terms will be announced on the main page at least seven (7) days before taking effect. If the changes are unfavorable to users, a notice period of at least thirty (30) days will be provided.

  5. Revised terms will apply only to contracts made after the effective date. However, users may request the application of new terms to pre-existing contracts if the Mall agrees.

  6. Any matters not covered in these Terms of Use will be governed by relevant laws and general commercial practices.


Article 4 (Provision and Modification of Services)

  1. The Mall provides the following services:

    • Information about products and service agreements

    • Delivery of purchased products

    • Other related services designated by the Mall

  2. The Mall may modify the details of its services or products due to unavailability or technical updates. Any changes will be announced immediately.

  3. If a service modification affects an existing agreement, the Mall shall notify affected users and compensate for any resulting damages unless it can prove that it was not at fault.


Article 5 (Service Interruption)

  1. The Mall may temporarily suspend services due to maintenance, system upgrades, or communication failures.

  2. In case of service suspension, the Mall shall compensate users for any resulting damages unless it can prove that the suspension was unavoidable.

  3. If the Mall discontinues its services due to business transition, closure, or mergers, it shall notify users and provide compensation in accordance with its stated policies.


Article 6 (Membership Registration)

  1. Users may register for membership by completing the registration form and agreeing to these terms.

  2. The Mall may refuse membership in the following cases:

    • The applicant has previously lost membership due to a violation of these terms (exceptions may apply after three (3) years).

    • False or incomplete registration information is provided.

    • The registration is deemed technically infeasible by the Mall.

  3. Membership is confirmed when the Mall notifies the applicant of approval.

  4. Members must update their personal information promptly if any changes occur.


Article 7 (Membership Termination and Suspension)

  1. Members may terminate their membership at any time by notifying the Mall.

  2. The Mall may restrict or terminate membership if:

    • False information was provided during registration.

    • Payment for products is delayed or unpaid.

    • The member disrupts the Mall’s operations or engages in fraudulent activities.

    • The member violates laws or these terms.

  3. If the same violation occurs twice or is not corrected within thirty (30) days, the Mall may terminate the membership.

  4. When terminating membership, the Mall shall notify the member and provide at least thirty (30) days for an appeal.


Article 8 (User Notifications)

  1. The Mall may notify users via email or other pre-arranged communication methods.

  2. General notifications may be posted on the website for at least one (1) week instead of individual messages, except in cases affecting specific users’ transactions.


Article 9 (Purchase Process and Privacy Consent)

  1. Users may place orders by following these steps:

    • Searching and selecting products

    • Entering recipient information (name, address, phone, email)

    • Reviewing and accepting terms, including costs and cancellation policies

    • Confirming the purchase request

    • Selecting a payment method

  2. If user data is shared with third parties, the Mall must disclose the recipient, purpose, data types, and retention period before obtaining consent.

  3. If data processing is outsourced, the Mall must inform users and obtain consent unless required for service fulfillment.


Article 10 (Contract Formation and Payment)

  1. The Mall may refuse purchase requests in cases of false information, minor purchases of restricted goods, or technical limitations.

  2. The contract is deemed concluded when the Mall sends an order confirmation.

  3. Payment methods may include bank transfers, credit/debit cards, electronic payments, or other methods approved by the Mall.


Article 11 (Delivery and Refunds)

  1. The Mall shall deliver products within seven (7) days unless otherwise agreed.

  2. Users may request refunds if a product is out of stock or unavailable, with reimbursement processed within three (3) business days.

  3. Users may cancel orders within seven (7) days of receiving goods unless restrictions apply (e.g., opened or used products).


Article 12 (Personal Data Protection)

  1. The Mall collects only essential personal data and does not use it for purposes beyond its original intent without consent.

  2. Users can access and request corrections to their personal data at any time.

  3. The Mall implements security measures to prevent unauthorized access or leaks.


Article 13 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law)

  1. Disputes shall be settled under Korean law and handled by the relevant court based on the user’s address or residence.

  2. If the user resides outside Korea, jurisdiction shall follow Korean civil law.


These Terms of Use take effect immediately upon publication and apply to all users accessing the Mall.
